This study is examining patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) — a chronic bowel disease — who are in a transition zone between remission (no symptoms) and a flare-up (active disease). Researchers want to identify warning signs in lab tests, imaging, endoscopy, and tissue samples that predict when a flare is about to happen. **You may be eligible if...** - You have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis based on standard diagnostic criteria - You are in the clinical transition zone between remission and relapse — meaning some early signs of returning activity are present - Your medical records include complete laboratory results **You may NOT be eligible if...** - Your medical records are incomplete - You have not completed required blood and stool tests - You have complications such as intestinal obstruction, perforation, toxic megacolon, or severe bowel narrowing - You also have an infectious or ischemic (blood flow-related) bowel condition - You have a serious infection, cancer, autoimmune disease, or major organ system disease - You are pregnant or breastfeeding Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
