Plain Language Summary

Simplified for easier understanding

This study is testing whether next-generation sequencing (NGS) — a powerful type of genetic analysis — can improve the diagnosis and characterization of tumors in the bile ducts and gallbladder (biliary tract cancers). Better genetic profiling could help match patients to targeted treatments. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 years of age or older - You have a tissue sample available with enough DNA for both standard pathology and genetic analysis (at least 20 ng of DNA) **You may NOT be eligible if...** - There are no specific exclusion criteria for this study Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
