This study (TASTY) is investigating whether following a Mediterranean diet can improve gut health and reduce disease activity in people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), a condition where the immune system attacks the joints causing pain and inflammation. **You may be eligible if...** - You have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis - You are over 18 with at least 1 year of disease history - Your disease is currently active - Your medications have been stable for 12 weeks - You currently have a low to moderate adherence to a Mediterranean diet **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You are on a high dose of prednisone (7.5 mg/day or more) - You have taken antibiotics in the past 4 weeks - You have inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, or chronic diarrhea - You have diabetes, another immune-related disease, or major organ dysfunction - You have been diagnosed with cancer in the past 5 years - You are pregnant or breastfeeding Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
