This study is exploring a personalized approach to palliative care — care focused on comfort and quality of life — for people with advanced esophageal cancer (cancer of the food pipe) who are receiving immunotherapy. The goal is to better match supportive care to each patient's individual needs. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 years or older - You have been diagnosed with esophageal cancer confirmed by a tissue test - Your cancer is at stage IV (spread to other parts of the body) or has come back after previous treatment - You are planning to receive immunotherapy (drugs that help the immune system fight cancer) - You are reasonably fit and able to carry out some daily activities (ECOG 0-2) - Your blood counts and organ function meet required levels **You may NOT be eligible if...** - Your esophagus has a hole (perforation) or you have had serious bleeding from it - You have an active autoimmune disease (where the immune system attacks your own body) - Your cancer got worse within 3 months of receiving immunotherapy previously - You have serious heart problems (e.g., heart failure, recent heart attack, severe irregular heartbeat) - You have HIV, active hepatitis B or C, or active tuberculosis - You are pregnant or breastfeeding Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
