This study is observing how doctors treat patients admitted to cardiac intensive care units with cardiogenic shock — a life-threatening condition where the heart suddenly cannot pump enough blood to the body. The study looks at both medication-based and device-based support approaches used in a regional hospital network. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 years or older - You have been admitted to a participating cardiac intensive care unit - You are suspected of having cardiogenic shock at a moderate to severe level (classified as stage C, D, or E on a standard medical scale) - You or a representative can provide signed informed consent **You may NOT be eligible if...** - Your shock developed after heart surgery (post-cardiotomy shock) - You have significant injuries to multiple body systems (polytrauma) - You have a serious neurological injury Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
