Psilocybin and Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

This study is testing whether psilocybin (the active compound in 'magic mushrooms') and MDMA (sometimes known as 'ecstasy') can help military veterans recover from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). **You may be eligible if...** - You are a military veteran aged 21 or older - You have a confirmed PTSD diagnosis lasting at least 6 months - You are medically stable and considered low risk for suicide - You have not previously used psilocybin or MDMA in anything beyond very small doses - You weigh between 40 kg and 120 kg **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have a history of schizophrenia, psychosis, or bipolar I or II disorder - You have had a moderate or severe alcohol or drug use disorder in the past year - You have borderline personality disorder - You have a close family member with schizophrenia or psychotic disorders - You have significant suicidal thoughts in the past 6 months Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
