Comparing Tear Proteomics Profile in Dry Eye Disease pre-and Post-treatment With Low Level Light Therapy

This study is looking at how low-level light therapy (a gentle, non-invasive light treatment applied near the eyes) affects proteins found in tears in patients with dry eye disease. By analyzing tear proteins before and after treatment, researchers hope to better understand how the therapy works and identify markers of response. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 21 years or older - You have been assessed as eligible for low-level light therapy for dry eye disease - You have not come to the clinic for an acute eye emergency (like sudden vision loss or severe eye pain) - You are able to give informed consent **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You are pregnant - You have a pacemaker, metal implants, or acoustic prosthetics - You have epilepsy, heart rhythm problems, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or severe diabetes - You have open wounds on your eyelids or nearby skin - You have active cancer or hepatitis - You are on blood thinners or have a clotting disorder - You have had venous surgery or have large varicose veins in the past 2 months Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
