LA Function After PFA in Paroxysmal AF

This study is looking at how a heart procedure called pulsed field ablation (PFA) affects the function of the left atrium (the upper-left chamber of the heart) in people with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF) — a condition where the heart beats irregularly in episodes that come and go on their own. The study uses echocardiography (heart ultrasound) to track changes before and after the procedure. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 or older - You have paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (episodes that start and stop on their own) - Your heart is in normal sinus rhythm at the time of the procedure **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have persistent or long-standing atrial fibrillation (AF that does not stop on its own) - You have previously had a heart ablation procedure - You have significant heart valve disease - You have had your left atrial appendage surgically or procedurally closed Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
