Summary

Optical and ultrasound biometry will be done for Patients who will undergo pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) and silicon oil injection preoperative and post operative 1 month

Eligibility

Min Age: 18 YearsMax Age: 70 Years

Inclusion Criteria2

patients with clinical diagnosis of retinal detachment (RD)
planned for pars plana vitrectomy with silicon oil tamponade

Exclusion Criteria4

previous intraocular surgery
failed optical biometry acquisition
recurrent RD
combined scleral buckle surgery
