Summary
Allergic rhinitis is a common condition characterized by nasal allergy symptoms. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of topical corticosteroids and systemic antihistamines in relieving symptoms. The objective is to determine which treatment offers better short-term and long-term symptom control to guide optimal management strategies.

Interventions
Two intervention groups were studied. One group received fexofenadine only, and the other group received budesonide only. Fexofenadine was administered orally as a tablet once daily at a dose of 120 mg for participants younger than 18 years and 180 mg for participants aged 18 years or older. Budesonide was administered intranasally at a dose of 32 mcg per spray, with two sprays in each nostril twice daily. Both medications were administered for a duration of one month. No specific strategies were used to monitor adherence to the intervention.
