Plain Language Summary

Simplified for easier understanding

This study is looking at biological markers in blood and other samples from children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), epilepsy, brain tumors, other neurological conditions, and typically developing children. The goal is to understand if there are biological signals in a child's body — and even from their parents — that could help researchers better understand why these conditions happen. **You may be eligible if...** - Your child is between 0 and 17 years old (up to age 17 years, 11 months) - Your child has a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, epilepsy, a brain tumor, or another neurological or neurodevelopmental condition - Your child is typically developing (for the comparison group) **You may NOT be eligible if...** - Your child has had a serious bad reaction to a blood draw in the past - Your child (if female and of reproductive age) is pregnant or planning to become pregnant - There is another medical or personal reason the investigator believes makes participation unsafe Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
