LT for Unresectable Colorectal Liver Metastasis

This trial explores liver transplantation as a treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer that has spread only to the liver and cannot be surgically removed. A living donor is needed. Currently, liver transplant for this condition is experimental, but early data suggests it may offer longer survival than other treatments. **You may be eligible if...** - You have confirmed colorectal cancer spread to the liver only, with no other sites of spread - Your liver metastases cannot be removed surgically and you have not yet had other treatments such as chemotherapy or immunotherapy - A multidisciplinary team has selected you as a suitable transplant candidate - You have a willing, healthy living donor - You are able to provide written informed consent **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You are pregnant - You have HIV - You have an active peptic ulcer within 2 weeks of transplant - Your original colon cancer is still active after colon resection - You are hemodynamically unstable (your blood pressure or circulation is not stable) - Your liver metastases have progressed at any point before the transplant surgery Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
