Comparison of Ultrasound and Breast MRI for Breast Cancer Detection

This trial compares breast ultrasound and breast MRI in women with dense breasts and a prior breast cancer history to see which method is better at detecting new or recurrent cancer. **You may be eligible if...** - You are a woman aged 20–75 with a history of breast cancer (stage 0–3) - You have dense breasts (category C or D) on your most recent mammogram - You have not had a breast imaging test in the past 6 months - You agree to annual mammography, ultrasound, and MRI **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You currently have symptoms suggesting active breast cancer or recurrence - You have had regional or distant metastatic recurrence - You have had both breasts completely removed - You are receiving chemotherapy for another cancer - You are pregnant or breastfeeding - You have severe kidney problems, claustrophobia, a metal implant incompatible with MRI, or a history of severe contrast reactions Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
