Plain Language Summary

Simplified for easier understanding

This is a patient registry at the University Hospital Leipzig collecting long-term data on people diagnosed with cardiac amyloidosis — a rare condition where abnormal protein deposits (called amyloid) accumulate in the heart muscle, making it stiff and affecting its ability to pump blood normally. The registry is designed to improve understanding of how the disease progresses and how treatments work over time. **You may be eligible if:** - You have a confirmed diagnosis of cardiac amyloidosis based on current medical standards (which may include biopsy, nuclear scan, or imaging evidence) - You are willing to have your clinical data collected and tracked over time **You may NOT be eligible if:** - You decline or refuse to participate in the registry Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.

This summary was AI-generated to explain the trial in plain language. It is not medical advice. Always discuss eligibility with your doctor before enrolling in a clinical trial.
