Developing a Peer Support Intervention for Depression in SCD

This study is developing a peer support program — where trained volunteers with similar experiences offer emotional and practical help — to address depression in older adults who are experiencing subjective cognitive decline (SCD), meaning they feel their memory is slipping even though tests show it is within normal range. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 60 years of age or older - You feel your memory or thinking has gotten worse (even if tests say it is normal) - You are experiencing symptoms of depression - You are not currently having thoughts of suicide or experiencing untreated mania, psychosis, or substance use disorder - You are fluent in English and able to give informed consent **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer's disease - You meet the full criteria for a current major depressive disorder - You have a history of major depression or significant neurological or psychiatric conditions in the past 12 months Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
