Clinical and Molecular Features of Oral Premalignancy and Oral Cancer

This study is collecting tissue samples, blood, and other biological materials from patients with oral premalignant conditions (like leukoplakia — white patches in the mouth) or oral cancer to better understand the molecular and genetic features that cause these conditions to develop or progress to cancer. This is a research registry and biobank study, not a treatment trial. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 years of age or older - You have been diagnosed with or are suspected to have an oral premalignant condition (such as leukoplakia, erythroplakia, or various degrees of dysplasia) or oral cancer - You are being evaluated at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center for the first time, OR you previously were treated there and have returned with progressive or recurrent disease - You are able to provide informed consent **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You are under 18 years old - You are unable to provide informed consent - You do not have a relevant oral premalignant or malignant diagnosis Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
