Plain Language Summary

Simplified for easier understanding

This study uses ultrasound to check for hidden (asymptomatic) shoulder joint problems in people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who don't currently have shoulder pain. It aims to find out how common these silent shoulder changes are in RA patients. **You may be eligible if...** - You have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis for at least 12 months (per 2010 ACR/EULAR criteria) - You are between 18 and 75 years old - You do not currently have shoulder pain or complaints **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have shoulder pain, suspected shoulder problems, or a history of shoulder surgery - You have had a direct shoulder injury or infectious arthritis - You have other connective tissue diseases - You have serious psychiatric or physical illnesses - You have had a fracture in the upper limb or have limited arm movement Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.

Interventions

DIAGNOSTIC_TESTShulder Ultrasound

Ultrasound Shoulder Pathology Rating Scale (USPRS) will be used in the evaluation. While the participants are in a sitting position; A total of 5 variables, including bicipital tendinopathy, supraspinatus tendinopathy, greater tuberculum cortical surface irregularity, supraspinatus dynamic and subscapularis dynamic examination, are evaluated and scored according to the level of pathology; The total USPRS score is obtained by adding the scores of all variables. Another parameter evaluated by ultrasonography in this study is the acromiohumeral distance measurement. In AH distance measurement with MSK-US, two measurements will be made with all participants in a neutral resting position and their hands at the top of the circle with the elbow angle of 110 °. In both positions, the probe will be placed longitudinally at the lateral point of the acromion determined by palpation, the distance determined between the acromion and the humeral head will be displayed and measured.
