"Turkish Validation and Reliability Study of the Brompton Breathing Pattern Assessment Tool in Asthma Patients"

This study is translating and validating a breathing assessment tool called the Brompton Breathing Pattern Assessment Tool into Turkish, to ensure it accurately measures abnormal breathing patterns in Turkish patients with severe asthma. Abnormal breathing patterns can worsen asthma symptoms, and having a validated tool in Turkish allows for better diagnosis and treatment in this population. **You may be eligible if:** - You are between 18 and 75 years old - You are of Turkish ethnicity and able to read and write in Turkish - You have been diagnosed with severe persistent asthma according to international GINA guidelines - You are willing to participate in the study **You may NOT be eligible if:** - You have had a respiratory infection in the past month - You have used oral corticosteroid (steroid) tablets in the past 4 weeks - You have cancer, vasculitis, or are pregnant - Your BMI is above 35 kg/m² - You have COPD or another primary lung disease (other than asthma) - You have a musculoskeletal, neurological, or heart condition that would interfere with breathing assessment Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
