iStent Inject Versus Goniotomy With Kahook Dual Blade in Glauocma Treatment

This study is comparing two procedures for treating glaucoma (a condition where pressure builds up in the eye and damages the optic nerve) in patients who also need cataract surgery. It compares iStent inject (tiny implants placed in the eye's drainage system) versus goniotomy using the Kahook Dual Blade (a minimally invasive surgical technique to open the eye's drainage channels). **You may be eligible if...** - You have a clinically significant cataract that requires surgery - You have glaucoma or elevated eye pressure currently controlled with 1 to 4 eye pressure-lowering medications - Your drainage angle in the eye is open (Schaffer grade 3–4 in at least two areas) - Only one eye per participant will be included in the study **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have had previous glaucoma surgery (including laser procedures that destroy drainage tissue) - You had selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) within the last 90 days - You have macular degeneration, severe diabetic eye disease, significant corneal dystrophy, or other eye conditions affecting pressure or vision - You are unable to give written consent due to another medical condition Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
