Health-Related Quality of Life and Emotions in Patients with Thyroid Nodules

This observational study is measuring quality of life and emotional wellbeing in patients who have had treatment for thyroid nodules or thyroid cancer. Researchers want to understand how different treatment approaches — either microwave ablation (a minimally invasive procedure that destroys the nodule with heat) or surgery — affect patients' daily lives and emotions. **You may be eligible if...** - You have been diagnosed with benign (non-cancerous) thyroid nodules or papillary thyroid carcinoma - You have undergone either microwave ablation or thyroidectomy (thyroid surgery) - You are able to understand and participate in surveys **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have serious disease in your liver, kidneys, blood, or endocrine system - You have a history of mental illness, personality disorders, cognitive impairment, or organic brain disease Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
